Portuguese Beans

Ingredients

2 links portuguese linguisa
1/2 medium white onion
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 clove garlic
2 cans pinto beans
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup red wine

Preparation

1. cut linguisa into bite size pieces
2. chop onion into small pieces
3. chop garlic clove into very tiny pieces
4. Combine linguisa, onion, garlic and olive oil in pot and brown for about 10 min on medium heat.
5. Add all spices
6. Add red wine, reduce down for 5 min.
7. Add beans and tomato sauce.
8. cook for 15 in, or until hot
