It is time to think about charitable giving for the 2006 tax year.
There are many organizations in Santa Clara County that provide services from pre-natal care through high-school age children. The March of Dimes, Second Harvest Food Bank, Toys for Tots, Goodwill, The Salvation Army, Red Cross, Juvenile Diabetes Research, and the Ronald McDonald House are just a few.
Check with your tax advisor about your charitable deductions, along with your employer to see if they have a matching funds program. Your employer may also have a program that helps many different charitable organizations.
