HAPPY HOLIDAYS

For some, it is a great time of year to visit with family and friends.  But for some of us, we are either from out of state or out of the country.  Some of us will get to work all through the holidays.  It can be a lonely time for many.  I remember spending many of my holidays with co-workers.  I'm still thankful they let me spend the holidays with their families.  I would like to suggest that you take this time of year to help other people in our area.  Invite the co-workers without local family over for dinner.  Donate your time at a local food bank to pack items for their holiday dinners.  Go to your local pet shelter and help walk the dogs.  Take toys to your local orphanage.  Donate your time at a local soup kitchen.  Find a way to help make our community better for everyone who lives here and make it great!

Check out our sister sites for Santa Cruz and the Monterey Bay.
